Business Continuity Through Disaster Recovery

Disaster Recovery (DR) is a critical part of business continuity and is mandated by law for publicly listed companies, and should probably be implemented by any company exceeding $5 million in sales. Many say they have DR, but in reality, only have a backup/restore system -- which is not DR because it does not guaranty how soon the systems can be restored or whether there will be any data loss.
